Conor McGregor has brutally responded to Henry Cejudo 's fight call-out by labelling him a "skid mark".
Cejudo's feud with the Notorious dates back to when the American mocked him for punching a man in a Dublin pub.
McGregor labelled the now-retired UFC champion Cejudo a "fart" after his comments and the pair have been involved in a feud ever since, reports The Mirror.
The Dubliner recently posted a video of himself hitting pads ahead of his UFC return later this year, only for Cejudo to try and give him pointers on his technique. The Irishman responded with a brutal put-down of Cejudo by calling him a "fat midget novice".
The latest row between the pair has come after Cejudo tried to lure McGregor into a fight, writing: "I know you are scared to fight me but slow down buddy. I need you to get injured during the fight... not before."
McGregor: "Mate, I don't give two f**** about you. You are a nobody. Who the f*** even are you? You are a little skid mark to me, stop messaging me, thanks."
McGregor was arrested for alleged dangerous driving earlier this week. The 35-year-old was pulled over on Dublin's M50 by members of An Garda Siochana - the Irish police force - but he insisted he was simply driving to his gym.
Cejudo mocked him for his recent arrest by replying: "The only skid mark you should be worried about is the one you caused by driving like an a***. I’m a 2X Champ and an Olympian. I’ve had gold around my neck. You’ve had silver locked around your wrists."
In a now-deleted tweet, McGregor wrote of his arrest: "That is the auxiliary lane on Dublin’s M50. I was preparing to take the exit that takes me to my gym." The Bentley supercar he was driving, said to be worth around €170,000, was taken from his possession before later being returned.
Cejudo thinks McGregor is a shell of his former self in the octagon and accused him of " manipulating " his way to UFC titles, stating: "Everything that he was saying, it was happening. He is not that dude no more. People know that it's just an act," he said on his podcast with 'The Schmo '.
"He's just a dude that at one point was able to manipulate himself to world titles and people bought into it, he was able to use his hands but once people realised that the front leg is there they started chewing that thing up."
