Conor McGregor has told Charles Oliveira to "shut your pie hole" after the Brazilian mocked him and picked Michael Chandler to win in his UFC comeback fight.
The legendary two-weight world champion has confirmed he will return to the octagon later this year against Chandler, who is a former Bellator lightweight champion. But Oliveira, who recently lost the lightweight belt to Islam Makhachev, is confident the American will win in the bout after McGregor spent over two years out with a broken leg.
McGregor has been in Las Vegas filming The Ultimate Fighter with his coaches as well as Chandler, attempting to re-immerse himself in the sport after so long out. But he has remained active on social media, and took to his keyboard to send a brutal message towards Oliveira after learning of his prediction.
"Charles Oliveira shut your pie hole," McGregor wrote in response to the Brazilian's message, before sharing an emoji of his country's flash. He then shared a message that he was "2-0" against Brazilians, before adding that it was "actually 3-0 because RDA s*** a brick."
McGregor was responding to Oliveira's interview on The MMA Hour where he claimed the Irishman would lose yet again when he faces Chandler. He has been asked if he felt McGregor could earn a title shot with a win, to which he responded that it wouldn't be an issue.

"I don't think he's going to win," Oliveira said. "He's a guy that sells and he's great to promote. People love to watch his fights, but I don't think he's going to win... I believe Chandler is an explosive fighter. McGregor hasn't fought in a long time. I believe Chandler is going to win."
Oliveira attempted to wrangle a fight with McGregor during his time as champion, but the majority of his reign was spent with the Irishman out injured. Had he beaten Dustin Poirier in their trilogy, the bout likely would have happened, but when the Irishman broke his leg the American got the title fight instead.
And having lost his belt first to the scales before his defence against Justin Gaethje before eventually to Makhachev last October, it's unlikely that Oliveira will secure a fight with McGregor going forward. The two-weight champion appears to have moved up to welterweight, where he and Chandler will compete in the Ultimate Fighter finale.
