Conor McGregor was unimpressed by the pay-per-view buyrate for Jake Paul's rematch with Tyron Woodley in December.
The YouTube star viciously knocked out the former UFC welterweight champion in a star-making performance that saw his star rise in the boxing world, but the event itself was reportedly not a box office success.
A number in the region of 65,000 buys was said to be all the bout drew on cable, with Paul denying that figure but admitting it was not his "best business night".
And in an exclusive chat with Mirror Fighting, the UFC legend refused to rule out a future fight with the YouTube star while mocking his poor PPV sales.
"I wasn't actually watching it," McGregor said at tonight's Bellator Dublin event at the 3Arena, where he was in attendance to support teammates Sinead Kavanagh and Lee Hammond.
"It only did a couple of thousand buys, I didn't actually watch it I saw it online so no I didn't see it.
"I don't pay attention to that stuff."
Asked if he would take a fight with Paul, McGregor responded "who knows? Never say never."
The Irishman is currently rehabbing a leg injury, and is planning to return to sparring in April with a summer fight comeback.
He explained that he wants a shot at Charles Oliveira's lightweight title on his comeback, despite coming off two losses to Dustin Poirier last year and just one win since 2016.
"Soon," he replied when asked about a comeback date. "It's getting there, we'll see how it happens and how it shakes out.
"April I should be back sparring, I'll gauge it all then - I'd like a title, a title, I'd feel a belt."
"We'll see what happens with the weight, I'm feeling nice and strong, I'm getting there day-by-day.
"I'm only 33 years of age, I'm unscathed, never been bust up in the face, never scratched in the face so I'll be back.
"I'm advised to take it easy, but I'm shadow boxing a lot and I'm figuring out what way I'm developing a style."
Paul has been angling for a fight with McGregor for the past two years, and speaking with Mirror Fighting earlier this month told the Irishman that he should stop drinking at his plush Black Forge Inn pub.

The YouTube star said that McGregor would need to get back in the win column before a fight between the pair could be feasible.
"I don't give a s*** about Conor," Paul said at a press conference for the Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano fight which he and Eddie Hearn are co-promoting.
"I just want to fight him and smack him in the head - in that sense I hope that he can win some fights so that we can actually fight.
"But the guy is a grown-a** man, he needs to figure out his life; it seems to be falling apart from what I can tell."
"Obviously, everything's through a lens, we don't know what he's going through actually," Paul added, before saying that he should "for sure" stop drinking.
"That's clearly one of his many problems - he needs to get in the gym and drink calcium because his bones are f***ing breaking."
McGregor was speaking at Bellator 275 at the 3Arena in Dublin, which broadcasts live tonight on BBC 3 and BBC iPlayer.
