Conor McGregor shows off wads of $100 notes in latest confusing message

Conor McGregor has shown off his wealth by posing with wads of $100 notes in the latest of his bizarre social media posts.

McGregor, 34, has been more active online than in the cage in over the past year as he continues to recover from a leg break he suffered against Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight. The former two-weight champion recently completed filming for his Hollywood debut in the Dominican Republic and has returned to Ireland to resume training ahead of his comeback next year.

After going back and forth with UFC legend Michael Bisping last week, McGregor posted a picture of himself with several $100 notes in his hand to his Instagram account. He shouted out Puerto Rican rapper Anuel in the caption of the post, citing the rapper's album "legends never die" and his song "McGregor".

"The aul cash what hahaha. Make a mother****er dance," McGregor captioned the post. "Straight in from New York, through Vin Diesel's back garden, over the side gate and right in to me next door hahaha thank you my brother Anuel. The real G of Latin trap, and me. Rich nut. Stream Anuel 'legends never die' and the song 'McGregor' and listen to a real classic! Puerto Puerto Rico cubano tastano mi ano I do what I want with doh, the song is on Spotify, lethal song blast it."

Anuel is a big UFC fan and became an official marketing partner with the promotion earlier this year. The rapper's logos and slogans have been featured during live pay-per-view events and his music has also been incorporated in the promotion. Anuel has a good relationship with one of McGregor's bitter UFC rivals, inaugural 'BMF' champion Jorge Masvidal.

McGregor, 34, recently got into a war of words with UFC legend Bisping on Twitter after he warned his fellow fighters to stay out of the movie business following the filming of his Hollywood debut. Bisping, who warned McGregor to have bodyguards around him next time they see each other, admitted he was "befuddled" after McGregor launched the unprovoked attack online.

"I was just befuddled. I'm like, 'Where's this coming from? What's that all about?' I wasn't annoyed or anything, just scratching my head going, 'Where's that coming from out of the blue?' God bless him, he's doing his first acting thing, it's a big deal and he's all pumped about it. He's all excited, he's had his first beer and he's doing a big show with Jake Gyllenhaal, god bless him. Good for f***ing you. Well done. Why have you got to throw s*** my way? I don't get it," Bisping said on his podcast Believe You Me.
