McGregor said: "My Howth spot! I plan on putting a jewel within a jewel with this breathtakingly situated premise. Over looking Ireland's eye and Howth Marina. I am excited! Watch. This. Space."
The fishing village is a thriving tourist hotspot that attracts thousands of people each day with its scenic harbour, stunning cliff walks and vast array of dining locations.
According to The Currency, he "quietly" acquired the Waterside Bar from a group of local businessmen, which is located almost directly opposite Howth Yacht Club.
The pub will be McGregor's third in Dublin.
He bought the Black Forge in his home town of Crumlin almost two years ago for close to €2m and completed an extensive renovation which cost the fighter a further €1 million as he turned it into a gastropub.
McGregor then spent at least €2 million buying the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh, where he assaulted a man who refused to drink his Proper 12 whiskey.
Reports have also suggested that the UFC champ has plans to build a €100 million apartment complex on the site of the Marble Arch and adjacent lots.
In another series of snaps shared to his Instagram, McGregor shared his father Tony's new car.
The black Porsche is the height of luxury.
Unusually, McGregor opted not to black out the registration of the car, which can be read in the snap as '221-D-188', a reference to his yacht of the same name, the 188.
The number holds significance for the family as it refers to the amount of money Conor used to earn while on the dole before he made a name for himself in the world of MMA.
"T-Mac's new Porshe," he captioned the images.
"#spankin @mcgregortony congrats Da."
The snaps show Tony's new black Porshe, which set him back a whopping €170k.
He picked up the car on Wednesday from car salesman Alan Lewis, who has been buying and selling high-end motors to Ireland's rich and famous for over ten years.
