Conor McGregor has donated a generous €10,000 to a pair of Wexford twins who have managed to secure places on the Irish team travelling to Abu Dhabi for the upcoming MMA Youth International.
13-year-olds Adam and Dylan Duffy from Ballycanew in County Wexford kicked off an online campaign to raise money to help them get to Abu Dhabi for the competition, which is sees children aged between 12 and 17 compete in MMA under a modified ruleset.
To get to Abu Dhabi to take part, the brothers around €6,000 to fund the trip. McGregor noticed the online campaign and donated €10,000 to help the lads get there.

The MMA star said when making the donation: "Done! Do the land proud I know."
Speaking to The Independent, Adam joked: "I’m basically friends with Conor now!"
Thanking Conor, Adam said: "I was at training when I found out, and my coach told me about it so calmly. I was going insane! I thought he was joking until he showed me the comments. I feel like I have to win now because he donated all that money."
Describing the donation as "very relieving", Dylan said: "We might not have been able to go without his help.
"There are so many gyms out there, and he donated to us, which is insane!"
