Conor McGregor's Black Forge Inn pub in Crumlin recorded losses of €1.136 million for 2021.
After losses of of €441,649 in 2020, new accounts filed by Jemi Ventures Ltd revealed the figure for 2021 which meant that by the end of last December the business had made losses of €1.578m.
The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and its subsequent closure of much of the hospitality sector played a part in the loss recorded by the pub.

A note with the accounts alluded to the fact that the Crumlin venue only opened on the 26th of July 2021 "when Covid rules allowed indoor dining but at a reduced capacity".
It goes on to add that "the company did not receive any State assistance through grants or aid throughout the financial period”.
Further investment into the husiness was overseen in 2021 in what was more than likely a contributing factor to the losses. For example, the number of staff on the company's books at the beginning of 2021 was three, compared to 46 by the year's end.
€272,275 was committed to purchasing motor vehicles for the company last year.
McGregor acquired the pub in 2020 and Jemi Ventures Ltd last November secured planning permission from Dublin City Council for a large extension.
On the official website for the pub, it is declared that the Black Forge will lead the way in entertainment in Dublin Twelve including concerts, sporting events and exclusive experiences, stating “our owner is keen to keep his people entertained, and that is our commitment”.
The accounts filed by Jemi Ventures Ltd put a book value of €4.32 million on the pub building and tangible assets at the end of 2021.
The loss for last year includes a sizeable €471,545 non-cash depreciation charge.
Buildings owned by the company had a book value of €2 million, while fixtures and fittings were valued at €2 million.
According to figures from Forbes Magazine, McGregor is ranked 35th in its 2022 top highest earning athlete rankings, earning just over €36m over a 12-month period.
