Conor McGregor publicly backed Ariel Helwani and has hinted at a future interview.
McGregor and Helwani have had a long standing relationship with the Canadian journalist visiting Dublin when McGregor was on the rise.
And when it comes to fights, McGregor always grants a one on one interview.
And the Dubliner will grant rare interviews with Helwani on occasions.
Helwani has been in the spotlight after a recent interview with Dillon Danis and also was the centre of a social media storm after clashing with Liverpool fighter Paddy Pimblett.
McGregor said online that he was 'still rocking with Dillon' after the interview.
And when one social media user commented under McGregor's Tweet, the Crumlin man publicly backed Helwani.
He said on Twitter: "No way, I rock with Ariel also! I always stay up on his content. I’m sure we’ll catch up in the near future also!"
