Conor McGregor has shared a cryptic message on social media after fans expressed concern about his fighting future.
The Dubliner posted a portrait image of American actor George Clooney along with the quote: "When you destroy someone else's life with lies, take it as a loan. It will come back to you with interest."
McGregor's post comes as a number of fans stated they are convinced that the former two-weight UFC champion will not fight Michael Chandler this year.

The Notorious recently coached alongside the American on the latest series of The Ultimate Fighter and was expected to fight Chandler on December 16, but that date is in doubt as McGregor is seemingly yet to re-enter USADA's drug testing pool, which he needs to be in for six months before being permitted to fight.
McGregor has had a dismal start on TUF, with his fighters losing the opening five fights to those on Chandlers team.
And fans are concerned with the lack of training footage being shared by the 34-year-old online.
"The Ultimate Fighter seems like just a way to keep his name and brands popular to get attention again, I don’t think this man was ever planning to fight Chandler," one wrote. Another user agreed by replying: "There's no way this man is fighting Chandler going by his tweets and Instagram posts."
"Even if he does fight Chandler at this point I think he gets knocked out. He’s just been out for too long and will probably gas bad. His cardio already seems suspect and that’s never been his strong suit," a third comment read.
McGregor has not fought in almost two years since suffering a broken leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.
