Conor McGregor has paid tribute to his uncle following his death.
The UFC star shared a message online following the death of his mother Margaret's brother Dan.
Posting a photo of Dan on social media, McGregor wrote: "Rest In Peace my uncle Dan! Armies all over the shop we have, the sky the lot. Word to me nanny! Yup the Moore’s!"

The image shows Dan standing with a UFC belt at McGregor's Black Forge Inn pub in Crumlin.
McGregor's mother comes from a large family, with Dan one of her 11 siblings.
He is predeceased by his sister Ann, who McGregor clarified did not die from coronavirus at the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The Notorious was due to go on American television to promote his whisky brand but received the news about his aunt shortly before.
He opted not to follow it through and later took to social media to share several pictures and some kind words about his relative.
McGregor said: "These photos are from the other day at a studio in Dublin’s City centre.
"I was to announce to the world my @properwhiskey donation to @Tunnel2Towers . A great day! A proud day, I brought my family with me to the studio. Sitting in the chair about to beam live to all the U.S morning talk shows.
"I get a phone call telling me that my lovely little auntie Ann had passed away. I couldn’t go live anymore. My poor little friendly loving auntie. My mother’s sister.
"This stupid f****** virus. What the f*** is happening. I took my family to bull island. Looked out at the sea. Took a deep breath. Thank f***! Lord thank you.
"Stay tight people! We are all we got. Rest in Peace Ann Moore I love you."
McGregor later clarified: "I want to clear up that it has been confirmed she was not a victim of coronavirus."
"I am grateful for the kind wishes and sympathy for my Auntie's passing."
