Conor McGregor drives Lamborghini around Monaco as he shares pictures with family

Conor McGregor appears to be enjoying retirement as he soaks up the sun on the French Riviera.

The Notorious is spending time with his family in Monaco ahead of a gruelling 180km challenge across the Mediterranean next month.

He was spotted driving a red Lamborghini around the city on Thursday, with a number of photos and videos being posted online.

McGregor also shared snaps with his two children - Conor Jr and Croia.

The former two-weight champion posed for a photo in his bare feet with his kids, while they also went for a boat ride.

The Dubliner's posts come after he trained with the Princess of Monaco on Wednesday ahead of next month's Marathon Endurance Race.

The water biking contest begins in Corsica on September 12 and finishes at Monaco's Yacht Club the following day.

Sharing training pictures on his Instagram account, McGregor commented: "Another day closer to #TheCrossing!

"Great work today with her highness Princess Charlene of Monaco!

"Training between the elements of night and day to prepare for our 180km voyage from Corsica to Monaco by sea bike. We are estimating upwards of 30 hours for completion. This September 12th!

"We are ready!"

McGregor revealed his participation in the race a few weeks ago, saying: "Joining Princess Charlene’s team for the Marathon Endurance Race is both an honor and a challenge. When I commit, I always train hard, and we plan to win!

"The Princess’ foundation works in over 30 countries promoting fitness and safety in water sports.

"I appreciate the support and encouragement I have received in Monaco. Let’s go team @mcgregorfast!"

Princess Charlene is both the event's chief organiser and the defending team champion and trained with McGregor when they met last month.

Welcoming McGregor to her team, she said: "@thenotoriousmma welcome to the team ,so happy to have you on board with this challenge.

"Was great meeting and training with you!"
