UFC legend Conor McGregor has made a €10,000 donation to a children's hospital heart centre, it has been revealed.
McGregor made the donation to the Children’s Heart Centre at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, an area of the capital where the hugely succesful champion was born and raised.
The Dubliner made the donation on the GoFundMe website following an appeal by Sandra Devlin who's neice is being treated at the centre.
There had been numerous, much smaller donations on the page before the €10,000 appeared. It was attributed to a "Uncle Conor McG".
The centre is a state-of-the-art unit dedicated to cardiac care for children up to the age of 16, and used by youngsters from across the island of Ireland.
McGregor is set to make his eagerly-awaited return to the Octagon later this year when he takes on Michael Chandler in his first UFC bout since 2021.
