Conor McGregor has demanded respect for his fighting style as he continues to talk up an immediate title shot upon his return.
The Dubliner is continuing to work his way back to training after a broken leg suffered in his second defeat by Dustin Poirier last year.
He's targeting a lightweight redemption and has even demanded a shot at the title holder Charles Oliveira, Mirror UK reports.
McGregor admitted there was an 11 per cent chance his leg wouldn't fully heal but now that his recovery is almost complete, he is eyeing world glory once again.
"It is about time this game starts giving me respect for my different styles of fighting," McGregor told Severe MMA. "My shots downwards and upwards, no matter what's going on with the leg I would scoot into open guard.
"There is an 11 per cent chance that this bone didn't heal but that has gone now. I will forever be in that instability, I am past that stage now but even then I would go into open guard.
"People are going to give me respect for all of the facets of my game even my downwards shot and up kicks, ever since then you have tried to see people implement them and it's not the same.
"There is levels to this game. So the game is got to understand and give me respect for the multiple facets of my game."
