Conor McGregor shared one of the first clips of him squatting since suffering his grizzly leg break in July in a further sign that he's once again nearing full fitness.
While it was just one set at what's a light weight of 60 kgs for an elite athlete with his strength, it is an encouraging sign as his workout videos have been notably all upper body-centric over recent months.
You can watch the clip in the fourth slide of the below Instagram post.
Now, there could still be a long way to go before he's able to complete a full training camp and withstand the pummeling that comes with fighting in the octagon.
McGregor himself recently laughed off speculation (via a tweet with two laughing emojis) from UFC pundit Brendan Schuab - whom had suggested that the word is he won't make his comeback before November.
But the Crumlin native has kept things vague about when fans can expect to see him compete again.
While attending Bellator 275 on February 25 he was in relaxed mood when asked by Severe MMA about when we're likely to see him fight again.
He said: "Once I get the leg cleared and I get that feeling when I kick a body, step back in and out, then I'll be able to gauge time.
"Then I'm going to isolate myself, stay away from the pub, stay away from my Forged Irish stout, my delicious smooth Proper 12 Irish whiskey and dedicate myself to my craft 100 per cent.
"I'll give it a month or two of that and see how everything goes and then make the move [for a comeback].
"I'm in no rush, I know there are a lot of people supporting me, I want to do them well and that's what we're going to do."
Since then there haven't been any more concrete soundings from him or his camp but he has been back sparring for the past month or so but only in a boxing context.
And he certainly hasn't been at the stage where he cuts out the finer things in life as he's been holidaying in spots like Saint-Tropez as well as continually enjoying some boozy nights out.
Last week former UFC heavyweight Schuab had said on his podcast: "Here's the thing, he broke his leg and I think the earliest he can come back is November.
"You know the year just started and we're in May. So for Michael Chandler, you're going to wait till November and from what I hear from my sources, Conor has no intention of fighting this year.
"This is why he's so big, you know? So if did fight Chandler it would be at 170lb, but at the very, very earliest you're looking at November. I know Michael Chandler, I know him pretty well, consider him my friend. He ain't waiting till November; that ain't happening."
The UFC are ploughing on with filling their pay-per-view cards so there are minimal opportunities for the Dubliner to headline a card.
Israel Adesanya will take centre stage on International Fight Week in Las Vegas in July while Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic are pencilled in to headline September's UFC 270 card. Charles Oliveira could return at UFC 281 in October if he takes on Islam Makhachev for the vacant title with that card set for Abu Dhabi.
