Conor McGregor and Eddie Hearn have held crunch talks today in Dublin over a potential Katie Taylor bout in Croke Park.
Taylor's homecoming fight against Amanda Serrano is currently earmarked for May 20 with the 13k seater 3Arena looking to be the venue. McGregor then got involved and offered funding to bring it to the 80k seater Croke Park, but it's understood to be a last gasp effort.
Last April Taylor and Serrano managed to sell out the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City. As an Irish rematch looked on the cards, Hearn scoffed at Croker's costs, which he claimed are three times more than what would be required for London's Wembley Stadium.

The pair met this evening at McGregor's pub The Black Forge Inn in Crumlin. Hearn arrived along with Matchroom Boxing CEO Frank Smith at 4.30pm, and was joined 40 minutes later by McGregor, who said " we'll see what happens" when asked if he feels a deal will be reached today.
The UFC fighter took photos and fist bumped with fans as he arrived at the pub in a Rolls Royce, and Hearn was also spotted posing for photos with staff inside the pub. The group sat in a back corner table, not McGregor's private 'Bentley Room', and could be heard loudly laughing as they enjoyed a meal and glasses of the Irishman's Proper Twelve whiskey.
