Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett has been told that there are no easy fights in the UFC as he sets his sights on his next opponent following his win against Jared Gordon at UFC 282.
The comments have come from PFL featherweight champion Brendan Loughnane, who has said that the 27-year-old is not cut out for the UFC despite his five successive wins since joining the company a little over a year ago.
Pimblett's win against Gordon was not without controversy, with many believing that due to the amount of time Gordon was in control of the fight that it should not have been a majority decision in favour of Pimblett, who claimed it was an 'easy win'.

The co-main event fight was Pimblett's first on a UFC card, but following three stunning wins early in his UFC career, the fight was more of a struggle for the Liverpool MMA star than previous contests and it has drawn much controversy with many pundits disagreeing with the decision.
Loughnane is a previous training partner of Conor McGregor and spoke about Pimblett in a recent interview with Sky Sports News, saying that he may not have what it takes to crack the top 10.
“Paddy’s marmite, you love him or you hate him. I don’t think he did himself any favours,” Loughnane explained in a recent interview. “I’m just being brutally honest, I know Paddy, I like Paddy but he’s not top 10 material in the UFC. He’s not. Maybe he thinks he is but I really don’t and I know, I train with the top 10 UFC guys on a regular and I know the levels. It’s scary. The 155lb top 10 is insane.”
“It’s difficult to say because he just pulls wins out the bag as well,” he added. “He pulls chokes out of nowhere. He’s a very good grappler and if he gets you on the ground he will submit you. Great back attacks and really goes for it. It’s a tough one with Paddy Pimblett, he will win some and he will lose some.”
Pimblett's next fight is expected to take place in March, with the UFC returning to London and Loughnane has tipped him to face veteran Michael Johnson.
"Who knows who they’ll give him next? I’m hearing Michael Johnson might be the case, all tough fights,” he added. “They’re not easy fights, especially in the UFC.”
