Conor McGregor admits he's 'upset' about Tony Ferguson feud before giving Elon Musk advice in bizarre tweet

In his latest string of strange tweets, Conor McGregor said he was 'upset' about his recent bad blood with Tony Ferguson before then offering some unsolicited business advice to Elon Musk.

The connection between the two points was that McGregor reflected on what a toxic atmosphere Twitter can have - albeit in this case it was himself initiating the toxicity by slagging Fergsuon immediately after he was brutally knocked out.

In a since-deleted message, he wrote: "I'm upset I went after Tony like that. Out straight. Wtf team, this is not a nice app not does it encourage nice behaviour toward each other.

"43bn, man pull that and say "sike" who gives a fuck, really. No one. Dip to a dip on the ship. The carry the toys ship. Leave a beast a beast."

The '43bn' he mentions is in reference to the billionaire's proposed takeover of Twitter.

The prolonged deal appears to have fascinated McGregor as he's previously tweeted about how he'd like to buy the social media platform too.

Apart from this random thought, there were also a few more run-of-the-mill tweets over the course of the night/early morning from the former two-weight UFC champion which included him sharing some training footage.

And one clip of him hitting the pads drew criticism from another former 'champ champ' in Henry Cejudo.

The ex flyweight and bantamweight king butted in to say: "MMA is different than boxing if you over turn your hips it leads to easy takedowns.

"It’s hard to recover your position if you over throw your hips. You essentially add more time to whatever punch you throw next. You really need to understand setup punches. - Sincerely the goat."

Naturally McGregor didn't take too kindly to being critiqued so publicly.

He had another rambling message in response to that one too.

"God bless you. Hold on tight. I just want to crush the head not hold. I'll be there on bottom fighting 'evil' if I 'overthrow' my hips, over throw nice word.

"Come back and hit a throw. Whatever after that, launch someone. Make the splash kiddo. You a fat mess the last 24. Truth."

Read into that what you will (or can).
