Everton have today been linked with a move for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.
Reports emerged on Monday claiming that the Blues are keen to bring the midfielder to Goodison Park before the transfer window closes. Everton have until 11pm on Tuesday to complete their business.
Everton have a new manager at the helm now, with Sean Dyche now confirmed as the successor to Frank Lampard. The new Blues boss will likely want to add reinforcements to his squad before the window slams shut.

According to BBC journalist Alex Howell, Everton have made a bid to sign Gallagher. However, it is not stated how much the Blues have offered Chelsea in an attempt to complete a deal.
The report also says that, while Gallagher is not keen on the idea of signing for Everton, he would be open to an exit from Stamford Bridge if he’s told he’s no longer needed. Other reports have stated that Chelsea are looking to bring in Enzo Fernandez from Benfica in a £105m deal.
Gallagher spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace, where he impressed at Selhurst Park. Since returning to Chelsea, the midfielder has been a relatively regular figure in the team, but has only started nine Premier League matches this term.
Despite reports of Everton making a bid for Gallagher, senior sources at the club have so far denied any such bid has been made. It remains to be seen what Dyche and co have planned for the final hours of the transfer window.
