Conor Benn wasted little time in responding to Chris Eubank Jr missing weight ahead of their grudge match on Saturday night.
Eubank twice took to the scales as he tried to make the 160lbs limit on Friday but could not do so, coming in at 160.05lbs on his final attempt.
The 35-year-old has as a result been hit with a $500,000 fine, and Benn immediately took to social media to respond to his rival’s struggles.
He posted a video of him laughing, saying: “Show me the m*********ing money!”
Eubank could face a further penalty on Saturday, when both fighters once again have to weigh in.
The rehydration clause for this fight means that neither man can come in at more than 170lbs when they are checked at around 8am on the day of the fight.
Should either fighter come in over that limit on Saturday, it is understood they will pay a penalty of around $1m.
While Eubank came in heavy, Benn comfortably made weight at 156.4lbs, and he explained the decision to come in lighter than necessary.
"I'm still 156 so I've come in as a light middle, but ultimately I live for this, it's what I do,” he said.
"I don't care what he does. Nothing is about him, it's about how I've prepared, what I've done, and how I've made weight, he can come in however he wants and however he looks, it's no concern to me.
"I'll stay light, stay fast, stay sharp, stay accurate. I'm not a middleweight, I won't come in heavy. I'm a welterweight so I'll focus on being light, fast and dangerous."
