Conor Benn visited Amir Khan's dressing room and vowed to "take care" of Kell Brook after defeat to his rival in Manchester.
Brook defeated his bitter foe Khan with a sixth round stoppage in Manchester to settle their long-term war of words at last.
Several challenges could now await Brook who is yet to make a decision on whether to continue fighting at the age of 35.
Benn was spotted in Khan's dressing room and fired a warning to Brook, vowing: " I'll do that for you Amir, I'll take care of Kell don't you worry about that."
Khan laughed and shook hands with Benn who had gone backstage to commiserate with Khan over his stoppage defeat.
Brook was delighted with his performance over Khan and showed respect with his rival after several years of animosity.
He previously stated that he would be willing to share the ring with rising star Benn who is currently pursuing a welterweight title shot.
The 25-year-old believes a fight between the pair could be made at 150lbs and wants to prove that he is the best in Britain.
“The big domestics are what we want,” Benn told talkSPORT. “After Josh Kelly messed up, who is there now for me? Who can I really test myself against? Who claims to be the best in Britain?
“He is still sharp, he has still got his timing, he has still got accuracy. That makes the fight more realistic. I would fight him at 150. It don’t bother me or my team. It really don’t.
“I am tied into DAZN but I will leave that to them. I want to get stuck straight in. “I fancy that fight next. I just messaged my trainer. I fancy that fight next. That’s what I said.
“If I have to wait, I will wait. If I don’t, then I don’t. I just want that fight. He claims to be the best in Britain. He looked unbelievable tonight, he looks in shape, he looked great on the scales.

“Now that is me challenging myself against a former world champion who claims to be the best. Idols to rivals, that’s what it is.”
Brook has admitted a decision has not yet been made on whether he will continue to fight but he has also called out Chris Eubank Jr.
Demands have also been made by Brook's trainer Dominic Ingle to stage an exhibition with retired star Floyd Mayweather.
However, the Sheffield star has admitted it could taken an offer worth "millions" to entice him back into the ring.
“If the millions are out I will fight because I’m a prize fighter at the end of the day," Brook said after defeating Khan.
"I’ve three beautiful daughters who want that money off me, at the end of the day I’m a prize fighter.
"I can walk away, I want to thank Ben Shalom. But for now I am back baby, my mojo is back!”
