Just 24-hours ago it seemed a formality that Connor Goldson's days at Rangers were numbered as he seemingly jetted over to Cyprus for transfer talks.
But could there now be a twist? An image has emerged of the experienced defender joining up with his Light Blues teammates on a flight. Whether or not the snap from an eagle-eyed supporter was from today remains uncertain, but it's definitely recent, with summer signing Liam Kelly among the travelling party.
A prominent fan account tweeted the picture, accompanied by the caption, “Connor Goldson is en route to Birmingham with the rest of the squad for tomorrow’s friendly…”
Rangers face Birmingham City in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday before they visit Union Berlin in the German capital on Saturday as their preparations ramp up ahead of the Scottish Premiership curtain-raiser against Heart of Midlothian the following weekend.

Fans will be intrigued whether 31-year-old, who made an appearance as a second half substitute during Rangers' 2-0 defeat to Manchester United last time out, is included in the squad for these upcoming games or if this venture to England's second city will prove a final farewell.
Goldson has been strongly linked with Aris Limassol as well as Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro-League. Last month, Rangers' next opponents, Birmingham, were also named as an interested suitor.
Aris' press representative was questioned about their interest in Goldson. While not revealing any specific names, they did discuss the ongoing search for a centre-back.
They said: "We are close to a new signing. Things are not so easy as it involves several moving parts. We are doing our best to conclude a deal. We will not divulge any names."
