Out of contract Connor Goldson 's new Rangers deal stalemate is set to rumble on until the end of the campaign.
The centre-half is approaching the end of his contract and can leave for free this summer.
Goldson was criticised for conceding Rangers had “lost a bit of hunger” following their Premier Sports Cup semi final loss against Hibs.
However, the Englishman has won over the Ibrox fans all over again with his performances, notably in the Scottish Cup semi final win over Celtic.
Supporters are keen to see Ross Wilson keep the 29-year-old at the club beyond the end of the campaign.
But Gio van Bronckhorst has revealed there is no update on the status between the players and the club.
He was keen to keep the focus on the Europa League, Premiership and Scottish Cup run-in.
Speaking ahead of the clash with RB Leipzig, Van Bronckhorst said: "There’s no news.
"We’re working in the last weeks of the season and we are fully focused on performing on the pitch so no new news."
Hopes of seeing the defender remaining in the Scottish Premiership have been dwindling with the club and player unable to come to terms so far this term.
Sides south of the border have been linked with a summer swoop including Nottingham Forest.
