East Kilbridians are invited to connect with their local heritage at the second annual Bygone Con.
The free event, organised by East Kilbride Heritage Group, runs at East Kilbride Central Library on April 29 from 10am till 4pm.
This bumper event aims to bring together lots of different local and family history groups and experts to show their work and chat to visitors, who can learn how to further their own research, find out what is available and quiz the experts.
There will also be a number of talks on the day.
The library will host groups from all over North and South Lanarkshire and Glasgow including East Kilbride Heritage Group, Lanarkshire Family History Society, The Commonwealth War Graves Commission Park Farm, EK Rep Theatre and Scottish Indexes.
All are welcome to come along and have a chat, reminisce, make some new connections and fill in some gaps on your family tree research.
Hazel Brown from EK Heritage Group said: "We attended the previous Bygone Con in Rutherglen Library and it was a great day, so well attended and it was lovely so many people connecting with their local heritage.
"We can't wait to show everybody all the work we did for East Kilbride's 75 th anniversary last year and we'll have our newest booklets for sale on the day.
"I think this Bygone Con will be ever bigger and better than the last one."
