New Jersey Congressman Jeff Zandru, a member of a House Judiciary Committee, reiterated that the ongoing inquiry into the financial and political affairs of President Biden's family is necessary to ensure truth and justice prevail. He emphasized that the move is not politically oriented but is to provide accountability for the alleged misconduct of the Biden family.
The Congressman stressed that the party's decision to launch an inquiry was based on 'crossing every T and dotting every I', to ensure a comprehensive investigation beyond politics. This move was explained as a response to the administration's seeming indifference to conducting a fair assessment back when they were in power.
An additional point of contention, according to Zandru, is the questionable flow of funds to the Biden family and their associates from nations such as Kazakhstan, Russia, China, and Romania, which amounting to around 20 million dollars. Furthermore, the controversy surrounding Hunter Biden's inclusion on an energy company board in Ukraine, despite having no apparent background in energy, was also cited.
The Congressman gave his assertions about potential distrust within the Department of Justice due to the interference of Vice President, and now President Biden that potentially led them to draw out charges against Hunter Biden.
Zandru elaborated, 'There's so much smoke you got to clear out to see what the truth is.' He alluded to the alleged corruption scandals involving Hunter Biden, including gun charges and tax evasion, and potentially lenient sentences. He concluded his points by saying that regular citizens are held to higher standards of justice than the political elites, highlighting the apparent injustice of the situation.
Regarding the possible outcomes of the impeachment inquiry, Zandru predicted a narrow vote but was confident that the motion would pass. The Congressman urged his peers to vote in the favor of truth and the opportunity provided by the inquiry to get to the bottom of the allegations. When asked about Hunter Biden's scheduled deposition, Zandru posited that evasion and pleading the fifth may be key strategies employed in the process, indicating a disruption in the pursuit of the truth.
