Confused Married At First Sight UK viewers question Chanita's 'magic' dress

Those who tuned into the latest episode of Married At First Sight UK were in for a dramatic ride. The latest instalment, which aired on Monday, October 3, saw Whitney Hughes and Matt Murray return to the experiment as a couple, despite not being expertly matched.

Their reintroduction to the show made for uncomfortable scenes at the latest dinner party as the other brides and grooms reacted. The episode also saw the couples send anonymous letters to one another about their marriages, a challenge that stirred up a lot of tension at the table.

The letters saw Johnathan Wileman in the firing line over his opinions, while Jordan Emmett-Connelly and Chanita Stephenson also discussed their future together after the letter they received suggested they were "coasting" to the end of the experiment.

However, as Chanita spoke to cameras outside of the dinner party, viewers were left distracted as her gorgeous satin dress appeared to be an optical illusion. Inside the venue, the outfit looked emerald green, but outside it completely changed colour, to a deep blue.

"Wait!" wrote one MAFS UK viewer wrote: "Does Chanita's dress change colour???"

Replying, another wrote: "I’m so confused!! It’s emerald green then it’s navy blue."

"Chanita's dress is properly f*****g with me, like is it a massive continuity error or is it genuinely different under different lights," said a third.

While a fouth commented: "Anyone else confused about the change in Chanita’s dress colour in this episode? I’m feeling white gold/blue black dress again." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
