'Confused and frightened': Woman has drink 'spiked' on Glasgow flight

A PASSENGER on a Glasgow flight has been left 'confused and frightened' after their drink was 'spiked' by the people sitting behind her.

The woman claims that a group of boys stole her water bottle from under her feet and "poured some strong alcohol in it and heck knows what else".

Sharing the experience on a community group on social media, the passenger said: "I had been confused for a while and frightened.

"They had been so proud of themselves and laughed behind my back to their girlfriends how they pranked me that it was hard to not notice who [had] done it."

She added: "It honestly broke me at the very start of my holidays."

The passenger shared the story in a bid to warn others when they are travelling on a plane to be vigilant about their drinks.

The incident is not understood to have been reported to the police.
