Edouard Mendy continues in goal for the Blues and the Senegal international will play behind a back three.
Andreas Christensen, who started at right-back against the Eagles, is on the right of the defence while Thiago Silva maintains his central role. On the left is Antonio Rudiger, who has been one of Chelsea's standout performers this term
Cesar Azpilicueta was absent against Palace due to a groin issue but is back in the starting XI at right wing-back. On the opposite flank, Marcos Alonso comes back into the side ahead of Malang Sarr.
Mateo Kovacic starts in midfield having only made a brief cameo at the weekend and he is partnered by N'Golo Kante. Jorginho is among the substitutes.
Hakim Ziyech is currently Chelsea's most in-form attacker and despite Tuchel previously acknowledging the 28-year-old isn't as effective in the 3-4-2-1 shape, he maintains his spot in the attack.
Kai Havertz retains his place but will occupy a central role in the absence of Lukaku, who is on the bench and may play a role in the second half.
Christian Pulisic is expected to line-up on the left of the Chelsea frontline and the American will need to produce a much-improved display having also struggled at the weekend.
