The Japan international starts at right back in a back four with Ben White, Gabriel and Kieran Tierney.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is boosted with the return of Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe in midfield, while Gabriel Martinelli and Alexandre Lacazette start in attack.
Arteta has a young substitutes bench including Eddie Nketiah, Mika Biereth and Salah-Eddine, with 18-year-old Charlie Patino also among the substitutes.
