A piece of purple confetti from Sam Fender’s TRNSMT appearance last night is already up for sale at the princely sum of £40,000.
An opportunistic gig goer decided to make the cheeky request across Twitter following Sam’s performance which involved foam and confetti canons towards the end of his set.
The star, who also wrapped himself in a saltire backstage as he prepared for his big gig at his ‘second home’ had told fans he couldn’t believe he was headlining at Glasgow Green.
Sam, who was playing the fest for the fourth time has previously been transported around the site on Paolo Nutini’s back after they shared a whisky together.
Twitter user Bag of Cans who enjoyed watching Sam’s latest appearance suggested that they were keen to offload the prop from his performance at a keen price.
They wrote: “Hey guys selling some of the trsnmt sam fender confetti from last night. starting price is £40k. RTs appreciated xx”
Sam’s affinity with Scotland began after he lived with his mum in the Scottish Borders and even wrote a song The Borders based on his experiences there.
