Concerns growing for welfare of man last seen three weeks ago in Edinburgh

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing man last seen in Edinburgh three weeks ago. Joseph Yexley, from Nottingham, was last seen in the Holyrood Road area of the city around 2.50pm on Saturday, November 26.

The 33-year-old, who is known to go by other surnames, including Morrell, is described as being around six foot tall. He is of medium build with short dark hair and a dark goatee beard.

Joseph has a tattoo of a chair on his right cheek and wearing a black beanie style hat and an orange puffer style jacket with a navy jacket over it when he was last seen. He was also wearing a black and purple Nike jumper, with matching back Nike jogging bottoms that have a purple stripe down the side.

Joseph had on a pair of ankle length walking/workwear boots at the time of his disappearance. Police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and have urged anyone with information to get in touch.

Police Sergeant Jonny Wilson from Gayfield Square Police Station said : “We are growing increasingly concerned for Joseph and we would appeal to anyone who knows where he is to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 1403 of Wednesday, 14 December, 2022."
