Concerns growing for Scots teen missing for two days after visiting family in Aberdeen

Police are searching for a teen who has disappeared from Aberdeen where she had been visiting family.

Demi-Lee Simpson, who lives in Stirling, was last seen on Friday, March 11.

Police say they are "growing concerns" for the 16-year-old and have now appealed for the public's help in tracing her.

Demi-Lee is described as 5ft 6 inches tall, white female with long fair hair.

She was last seen wearing Blue Aladdin style pyjamas, black Stone Island jumper, Black Nike TN Trainers and black leggings.

A photo has been shared of the schoolgirl by Forth Valley and North East Police Divisions.

Police said in a statement: "We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace female reported missing in Aberdeen.

"There are growing concerns for the 16-year-old, who lives in the Stirling, but was up visiting family in Aberdeen.

"Anyone who may have seen Demi-Lee Simpson, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0127 of 12/03/2022."
