Concerns growing for missing man who vanished after Stereophonics gig in Aberdeen

Concerns are growing for a man who vanished after attending a Stereophonics concert in Aberdeen.

Ross Scaife attended the gig on East Burn Road on Sunday, March 20 and was last seen at the Aloft TECA Hotel at 11.55pm.

Police believe that the 40-year-old may have walked towards Waterton Road, near the allotments.

The force says it is "out of his character" for him not to be in touch with his friends and family, who are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

An urgent appeal has been launched in an effort to trace his whereabouts.

Ross is described as being around 5ft 7ins and of medium build with brown hair.

When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and red Adidas trainers.

Anybody who may have seen Ross is urged to get in touch with police on 101.

Police Constable Deborah Archibald said: “It is out of character for Ross not to be in touch with his family and concerns are growing for his welfare and we just want to know that he is safe and well.

“If anyone has seen Ross or knows where he is then please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 01605 of Monday, 21 March, 2022.”
