A man who went missing from Edinburgh, sparking a frantic police search, has been found safe and well.
Niall Sandilands was last seen by family at Craigour Crescent, Edinburgh at around 10.30pm yesterday.
Niall's family told cops they believed the 60-year-old may have been suffering with dementia, although he has not been medically diagnosed.
He was reported missing to the police at lunchtime today.
Extensive enquiries were carried out to trace Niall and officers were checking any relevant CCTV footage for any additional information on his whereabouts.
Now, police have confirmed that the man has been traced safe and well.
