Concerns 'growing' for Lanarkshire teenager missing for past two days

A teenager last seen at a Lanarkshire college has been missing for two days, with "concerns growing for her welfare".

Police are seeking the public's help to trace 17-year-old Louise Dunlop.

Louise was last spotted at about 9am on Tuesday, April 18, near New College Lanarkshire's Motherwell campus.

She is known to frequent Lanark, Carluke and Glasgow, and to travel via public transport, including the rail network.

Louise is described as 5ft 3ins, with long fair/blonde hair.

When last seen, she was wearing a black long-sleeved top, black leggings, a black Canada goose body warmer and white trainers.

Inspector Peter Johnstone told Lanarkshire Live: "Louise has been missing for two days now, and we are becoming increasingly concerned.

“It is vital that we find Louise as soon as we can, and I am asking anyone who has seen her or knows where she is to get in touch.

“If you see Louise call us immediately on 101, quoting reference number 1525 of April 18.”
