Police have launched an appeal for help in finding a missing man who vanished overnight from East Kilbride.
William Stewart was last seen at around 2.30am on Thursday, February 9, near Germiston Crescent in the town. The 33-year-old has failed to make contact loved ones since, prompting police to launch a frantic search.
William is 6ft, of medium build and has auburn hair and a beard. He is believed to be wearing a khaki jacket and dark jeans and is known to visit the East Kilbride and Glasgow areas.
Officers have already made vast enquiries into William's disappearance but are now asking for the public's help as part of their ongoing efforts to trace him.
Inspector Gareth Brown, East Kilbride Police Station, said: “Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries since he was reported missing, but so far, he has not been traced, and no one has confirmed any sightings of him.
“We are growing increasingly concerned for William, and we would appeal to anyone who knows where he is to contact us. I would ask William himself, if you are reading this please get in touch with your family, friends or police.”
Anyone with any information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0227 of 9 February, 2023.
