Concerns grow for missing Fife man as police appeal for public's help

Concerns are growing for the welfare of a Fife man after he vanished on Friday.

Ernest Nicolson was last seen around 4.30pm on Friday, 3 February, 2023 in the Glen Nevis Drive area of Dunfermline.

Now officers in the area are appealing for the help of the public to trace a him as concerns continue to grow.

He was last seen wearing a black cap or hood, a puffer style jacket and carrying a camouflage rucksack and described as 5ft 8in and bald.

Inspector Stuart Allan, of Glenrothes Police Station, said: “We are growing concerned for Ernest’s welfare and would appeal to anyone who knows where he is or who has seen him to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 2658 of Friday, 3 February, 2023.
