PUPILS at a primary school in Scotland have been heard mentioning US rapper P Diddy's sex trafficking criminal case in the playground.
In an email sent to parents and carers and seen by STV News, Holy Family Primary School officials in Lenzie revealed “some” primary four students mentioned the disgraced hip-hop star.
The context of conversations is unknown but the issue was raised by concerned parents.
The email states “it clearly relates in some way to the ongoing criminal case”.
Diddy, born Sean Combs (above), was arrested in September and is currently being detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
In a case filed in New York, the star has been accused of kidnapping, drugging and coercing women into sexual activities, sometimes through the use of firearms and threats of violence.
The disgraced music mogul is currently awaiting trial, which is slated to start in May, and if convicted will face life in prison.
The email further told parents this “subject should not be referenced in school”, and requested all children to be reminded the case should not be discussed on school grounds.
East Dunbartonshire council chief education officer Greg Bremner confirmed the email was sent by the school after concerns by parents were raised.
