PC Humphries said: "We have had lots of issues and reports from the local residents with concerns of vehicles speeding along the roads in the borough, not just Stapleford but also in the surrounding areas. We are carrying out speeding operations and will take the appropriate action with motorists that exceed the speed limits.
"Speed enforcement can take place at any time and we will be enforcing the speed limits in our areas also with the assistance from mobile camera teams. Please keep your speed down, we will be returning."
Broxtowe South Police say drivers and riders should comply to the speed limits at all times.
