Concern grows for safety of missing Wythenshawe teenager

Police have appealed to the public to help trace a missing teenager from Wythenshawe.

Officers say they are increasingly concerned for the safety of the 18-year-old, named only as Zak. Wearing navy joggers and a grey jumped featuring a motif across the front, he was last seen on Southmoor Road in Wythenshawe on Saturday night, according to a bulletin from Greater Manchester Police (GMP).

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact GMP.

The force has tweeted a picture of Zak and brief details of his case and asked 'can you help us find Zak from Wythenshawe?'

Alongside the image, GMP said: "Zak is described as being an 18-year-old white male, 6ft tall, slim build with short black hair.

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Zak and want to make sure he is safe and well."

Anyone with information about him is being urged to call GMP 0n 0161 856 6086 or via www.gmp.police.uk
