Concern grows for pensioner missing for three weeks from Scottish town

THE search is still on for a man missing from a Scottish town since January.

Police have renewed their appeal in the hunt for Patrick Clark, 70, who went missing from Gourock in the early hours of January 31.

Clark was last seen at Lyle’s pub on Shore Street around 10 minutes after midnight, and has not been spotted since.

Concern is growing for Clark, who it is understood usually stays local to the Gourock area, but had recently visited West Kilbride. Ayrshire police have been drafted into the hunt as a result.

Police said previously that it was “completely out of character” for Clark not to keep in touch with his family. They added that he was “in poor health”.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Anyone who may have seen Patrick, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 and quoting incident number 3371 of January 31."
