Concern growing for welfare of missing Lanarkshire schoolboy

Police in Airdrie are asking for help in tracing a missing schoolboy last seen last week.

Corey Weallans hasn’t been seen since Thursday evening, with officers saying they are becoming concerned for his welfare.

The 14-year-old was last seen around 5.30pm on November 24.

He is descried as 5ft 5in, fair short hair, blue eyes, of stocky build.

When last seen he was wearing a blue Nike zipper, black Nike tracksuit bottoms and black Nike trainers with a yellow tick.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.

Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
