Concern growing for missing Scots pensioner last seen walking near Cathedral

Concerns are growing for a pensioner who was reported missing after going for a walk in a quiet Scots village. Carolyn Taylor, 68, was last seen at around 6pm on Sunday, 14 August after going on a walk in the village of Dunkeld.

Officers believe she may have been walking around the Cathedral when she disappeared. Police Scotland are asking anyone who may have been in the area or seen Carolyn to get in touch and assist with their enquiries.

Carolyn is described as white, 5ft 1 in, slim build, grey/blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark blue polo shirt with Scottish wildlife trust on the front and the volunteer on the back.

She is also wearing dark jeans, brown boots and a dark rain jacket. Sergeant Peter Duncan said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Carolyn’s welfare and I would ask anyone who has seen her to get in touch, we believe she may have went for a walk from the cathedral and are eager to hear from people who may have seen her in the surrounding areas.

Anyone who has seen Carolyn or knows where she is should call us on 101, quoting reference 3685 of Sunday, 14 August, 2022.”
