Concern growing for missing Inverness OAP last seen Saturday

Police Scotland are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a Scots pensioner who was last seen on Saturday. Eleanor Mallet, 65, was last seen in the Milton of Leys area of Inverness at around 1.30pm on Saturday, 8 October.

Authorities believe she may be driving a white VW Polo with the registration SY63 XKP. Eleanor is described as being 5ft tall, of slim build with long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a teal-coloured rain jacket. Officers are asking anyone who can assist with their enquiries to get in touch.

Sergeant Michael Heath said: “No one has seen Eleanor for a number of days and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“We believe she may have access to her car and are appealing for anyone with any information on her whereabouts or anyone who has seen the car to contact us.” Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 1454 of 12 October, 2022.
