Concern for missing man last seen visiting family nine days ago

A man has been missing for nine days after last being spotted visiting family.

Daniel Kay was last seen at a relative's property in Thatto Heath, St Helens, on Sunday, February 5. Merseyside police have now launched an extensive search to help find him.

The 40-year-old is described as being 5ft 11in tall and of a slim build. He has blue eyes, a goatee and shaven mousey hair. When he was last spotted, he was wearing a grey Berghaus tracksuit, Nike trainers and black Montirex cap.

A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We are appealing for help to find a 40-year-old man from St Helens. Daniel Kay was last seen visiting a relative's property in Thatto Heath, St Helens on Sunday 5 February, and extensive enquiries are ongoing to find him.

"He is described as 5ft 11in tall, of slim build, shaven mousey hair, blue eyes and a goatee. When last seen he was wearing grey Berghaus tracksuit, Nike trainers, black Montirex cap.

"Daniel is known to visit areas in St Helens, Thatto Heath, Haydock and Widnes. Anyone who has seen Daniel can contact us via our form https://www.merseyside.police.uk/ro/report/mp/v2/report-sighting-of-missing-person-form/. Or please DM @MerPolCC or contact @missingpeople on 116 000."
