Concern for Leeds pensioner missing all night in freezing temperatures

*Brian has now been found safe and well in Leeds.*

Police are appealing for information after becoming "increasingly concerned" about a pensioner who has been missing all night in freezing temperatures.

Brian Brown was reported missing from his care home in Joseph Street, Hunslet, at 12.12am after he failed to return when he left at 4pm yesterday. He was last reported seen walking towards Low Road.

The police also report he is not dressed appropriately for the cold weather. He also may be confused.

He has gone missing before and police have previously found him in Wakefield, Castleford, Batley and York where they are currently checking transport hubs. Officers are concerned for his welfare.

The police describe him as wearing a grey/blue hoodie, black trousers and black shoes. He was carrying a yellow/orange bag and has a lanyard with ID on it.

If you have any information on his location you can contact the Leeds District CID via 101 quoting log 14 of December 10 or online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat.
