New Delhi: A woman was arrested by Odisha Police for allegedly defrauding several builders, mine owners, and businessmen for cores of rupees in Bhubaneswar.
Identity of con woman & man
The accused have been identified as Hansita Abhilipsa, 38 and Anil Mohanty.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, they had a posh office on Infocity-Nandankanan Road where they duped their victims. The couple duped people by claiming close ties with prominent bureaucrats and politicians.

"The woman, along with her accomplice, duped people by impersonating themselves as the daughter and son-in-law of PK Mishra, the principal secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi," Swaraj Debata, Additional DCP Zone 6 said in Bhubaneswar. He added that the couple also had very confidential informations.
Held after complaint from mine owner
They were arrested in Bhubaneswar following a complaint filed by a mine owner, who was allegedly duped by the couple.

They would digitally manipulate the to appear as if she had close associations with top politicians and bureaucrats.

The couple used their doctored pictures to falsely promise victims to get their tenders passed.
Hansita also allegedly duped people by impersonating as the wife of high-profile businessmen, bureaucrats or ministers depending on the situation, according to the police.
The police said that they are investigating to know whether other accomplices were also involved in the fraud. (With Agency Inputs)
