Complete list of Covid-19 booster and flu jag drop-in centres across Ayrshire

People in Ayrshire are being encouraged to take advantage of a number of drop-in centres where they can receive Covid-19 boosters and flu vaccines, starting this weekend.

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is offering Covid-19 boosters and seasonal flu vaccines to eligible people on a drop-in basis at various sites across the region.

Since September, the programme has rolled out appointments to Ayrshire residents over 65 years old and those who are aged 16 – 64 in an 'at risk' category.

Earlier this month, people aged 50 and over were asked to make their own appointment at a venue that suits them.

If you prefer to book you can do so via www.nhsinform.scot/winter-vaccines or by calling the national helpline on 0800 030 8013.

Otherwise, there will be drop-in options around Ayrshire at the venues and times stated below:

NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s Director of Public Health, Lynne McNiven said: “Covid-19 vaccine immunity reduces and the flu virus changes over time, so it’s important those eligible top up their protection by getting vaccinated this winter.

“Our teams are able to offer drop-in clinics once again, so come along to the venue that is most convenient to you to get vaccinated ahead of the winter months.

“Any eligible health and social care workers who are yet to get their vaccines are also more than welcome to attend.

“If you prefer, you can also book a slot, as we have plenty bookable capacity at our local vaccine clinics. Call the helpline on 0800 030 8013 to get a date in the diary to protect yourself against coronavirus and seasonal flu.”
