The man who died in a tragic plane crash at the weekend has been named as Michael Flynn.
The married father-of-two lost his life after the microlight aircraft he was piloting crashed in a field on Sunday.
The incident happened at around 4.45pm near Miltown Malbay in Co Clare. A number of emergency units - including the ambulance service, Clare County Fire and Rescue and gardai - rushed to the scene but he was tragically pronounced dead there.

Michael was a plumber, understood to be in his 60s, who was well-known in the local community.
A death notice on RIP.ie read: “Michael Flynn, Kilcorcoran, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, following a tragic accident. Beloved husband of Helen and loving father of Aoife & Oisin.”
Clare Councillor Shane Talty told how the community will support Michael's family, who are being comforted by relatives and friends.
He said: "Speaking with people in Miltown, I know they are deeply affected and there's deep shock and upset but they will come together and support the family.
"It's difficult news breaking in Miltown Malbay yesterday evening.
"Our thoughts of all of us in north Clare are with the family of the gentleman. It's terrible news. A husband, a father, a hardworking community man. Our thoughts are with his family, neighbours and friends.
"When these tragedies occur, the community does pull together and rally around and support the family, friends and neighbours and I don't doubt that that's what will take place again here for the days and weeks and months ahead."
The Air Accident Investigation Unit, the authority for investigating air accidents and serious incidents in Ireland, examined the scene.
It said: "The AAIU has been notified of a fatal accident involving a powered hang glider near Miltown Malbay Co Clare.
"Two Inspectors of Air Accidents are deploying to the scene to conduct a survey of the accident site and an initial technical examination of the powered hang glider."
Gardai are also carrying out inquiries but are treating it as a tragic accident.
A post mortem will take place on the remains of Michael before his body is released to his family ahead of his funeral.
