Community Fibre has gone down leaving many customers without access to the internet.
Over 5,000 customers have reported issues with their internet service on the Downdetector website, which measures outages.
The majority of customers have complained about having no internet access, with some also saying they were having difficulty contacting customer service. This included its live chat service and phone number.
It follows a major outage earlier in the week with the broadband provider, which is popular in London.
Customers have taken to social media to express their frustration at this afternoon’s outage.
One person said: “Community Fibre down AGAIN. now I want some compensation two working days in one month is just not on.”
"Haven’t had a single issue with Community Fibre since it got installed in 2023, now had two issues in less than a week.", another added.
Another person said: “Internet down for the third time this week. You have been reliable previously, so what is going on?
“We seem to be paying for a service that is not being provided and no sign of any refunds in the single email you have sent out.”
Community Fibre serves over 1.3million homes and 185,000 businesses across London.
A Community Fibre spokesperson said: “We are aware that some of our customers experienced a network outage for approximately 30 mins this afternoon and most customers had service restored pretty much immediately.
“There is a small number of customers still experiencing problems reattaching their devices and we are working hard to get them back online.
“We apologise to all customers affected.”
