Musicians and entertainers from across Merseyside have clubbed together to take part in a joyful music festival in memory of a 15-year-old girl who tragically drowned.
Erin Madden died after getting into trouble in the water in Carr Mill Dam, St Helens, at around 12.30pm on Thursday, June 1. Officers entered the water in a desperate search for the teenager, who had been swimming with friends, but they were unable to save her life.
A charity festival will take place in her name at The Bull and Dog pub on Clock Face Road, St Helens, from 12pm on July 1.

The event is organised by friend Joanne Cummings, 40, who was inspired by an online fund-raiser set up to support Erin's mum Kirsty as she prepared to lay her daughter to rest.
Joanne, a mum of four, said: "The St Helens community is a very family-orientated community. If one of us hurts, we all hurt. When your child goes out to play, you expect them to come home. You don't expect these tragic events to happen, so it strikes a chord.
"You hear these things on the news far and wide - but you never expect it to happen on your own doorstep."
The music festival will be opened by X Factor 2015 finalist Kiera Weathers, and will include live entertainment, face painting and make-up, sweet stalls, a bouncy castle, and food vans.
Joanne said: "Every single one of them has volunteered their time for free in memory of Erin.
"It's not just me who is fund-raising. Everybody has pulled together. I'm even getting to a point where I'm having to turn acts down because we just don't have enough room."
Tickets to the music festival will go on sale online on Monday, with any left over being sold on the door on July 1. Adult tickets cost £10, and children's cost £5.
